The Prophecy of Baraj (バラージの予言, - Barāji no Yogen) is the 11th episode of Ultraman Max. This episode aired on September 10th, 2005.

Synopsis

Sand erupts from the ground and electronics go haywire. The monster Antlar has begun its attack.

• There is a notable alternate opening scene to this particular episode that has since then become widely inaccessible. In said scene, two boys are seen playing in a park, one of which is holding a figurine of Godzilla, which the other is holding a figurine of Gamera, and both boys are seen mashing them together, arguing over who is stronger than the other mere seconds before Antlar attacks with his Magnetic Waves. This scene was mostly made as an in-joke by the director of this episode, Shusuke Kaneko, who was also the director of the Heisei Gamera Trilogy from 1995 to 1999, as well as the 2001 film, Godzilla, Mothra and King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack. However, due to legal claims by Toho Co. LTD (the owners of Godzilla,) All subsequent footage of this scene (including the episode on Crunchyroll) has since then been removed and replaced by a different scene of pedestrians walking around in Japan before Antlar's attack.
